Set in absolutely breath-taking scenery and established for over 25 years, Rothiemurchus is one of the best clay shooting facilities in the UK. Our exceptional facilities and top class tuition ensure that whether you are a complete beginner or a crack shot you’ll have a sensational time.
Our Silver Clay Shooting Experience will provide you with the ideal introduction to clay shooting. Our instructors provide expert one-to-one tuition giving you the confidence to really enjoy this exciting sport. Lighter weight guns and low recoil cartridges are available for ladies and children so that everyone can have a great time, and before you know it you’ll be hitting more clays than you thought possible.

EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

Clays, gun hire, 25 cartridges, safety gear and instruction

PARTICIPANTS TO TAKE

Please dress for the weather, wear suitable outdoor, enclosed shoes and ensure your shoulders are covered (no vest tops!)

EXPERIENCE

None required. Minimum age is 12 years, under 18s must be over 1.4 metres tall.

INSTRUCTORS

Jon Henderson is our part time Chief Instructor supported by Simon Munro and Paul Gray our other full time instructors. We also have several part time instructors who’s years of experience are too numerous to count!

QUALIFICATIONS

All of our instructors are qualified to the Scottish Clay Target Association Corporate standard.

CREDIBILITY

All of our instructors are qualified to the Scottish Clay Target Association Corporate standard and Rothiemurchus has been awarded a 4 star Visit Scotland grading
