Calves and Coos: A Behind-the-Scenes Farm Experience at Rothiemurchus

Bottle Feeding Calf at Rothiemurchus near Aviemore

Step beyond the farm gates and get a closer look at life on a working Highland farm with our Calves and Coos experience at Rothiemurchus. This exclusive opportunity gives you the chance to meet our cows, visit the calving area, and even help out at feeding time.

A Closer Look at Farm Life

Travel by Land Rover with one of our Rothiemurchus Rangers to the farm, where you’ll learn more about our herd of cross-breed and Highland cows. You’ll also visit the calving area to see where the youngest members of the herd are cared for.

A highlight of the experience is bottle-feeding Bruce, an orphan calf who is being looked after by our Farm and Ranger team.
