Rothiemurchus Falconry is now offering the chance to experience a breath-taking, free flying, bird of prey display in the heart of the Cairngorm national park. This experience is suitable for everyone!
Set within the Rothiemurchus estate you will be seated in our flying arena and introduced to the birds while they demonstrate their natural behaviours. Get to know their individual personalities, learn interesting facts about them and their conservation status. You will have the chance to see birds of prey from around the world ranging from a small and mighty owl to a huge, empowering eagle and even the fastest animal on the planet! Our birds will be flying in and amongst the audience with inches to spare allowing for a thrilling experience of being up close and personal to these amazing creatures.

After your flying display you will have the chance to meet our very special, resident Livestock guardian dogs and flock of sheep who play an important role in our ambitious White tailed eagle project.

Experience lasts up to 1.5hrs

PLEASE NOTE: This activity requires a minimum of two participants to run. If the session does not run due to lack of numbers, you will be given the option to change your date or receive a full refund.

WHAT TO WEAR

This is an outdoor activity and we will be out in the open so please wear appropriate clothing including sturdy/waterproof footwear. The winds from the mountain can be very cold and we want you to enjoy your experience to the fullest so please layer up! It is a good idea to bring a thin pair of gloves if you have them (winter months)

CANCELLATION POLICY

A minimum of 24hrs is required in order to be eligible for a refund. Please note that if you are booked under our Groups Terms & Conditions which would have been issued to you during the enquiry stage, these supersede the aforementioned T's & C's

ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS: In the event of high winds, we may have to cancel your experience for the safety of the Birds and Team. You will be notified and given the option to either re-book or receive a full refund in this situation
