Wildlife Watching Hide …

AN AMAZING EVENING WILDLIFE WATCHING

at our modern hide in the Rothiemurchus Forest

Description

As many of you know, unfortunately, our wildlife viewing hide burned down recently. We are well on the way to rebuilding it but naturally, this will take a while, so in the interim, we have reverted to watching wildlife from our original evening viewing option. We have been testing this and the animals appear unfazed, so we have started to take guests into the temporary set-up and will monitor its success over the coming weeks. If you have bookings with us up to the end of June, you will have been contacted by us already about this option. Going forward, we anticipate that we shall be using this temporary facility through July and possibly August, depending on the rebuild completion date. We know that the viewing experience isn’t as optimum as the purpose-built viewing hide, so we’re restricting the numbers of guests who can use it.

Speyside Wildlife has almost 30 years’ experience in organising wildlife-watching tours and holidays in the Highlands and Islands.  They cater for a wide variety of wildlife-watchers, from the dedicated wildlife enthusiast to those who simply wish to include wildlife-watching as part of their holiday.

Join one of Speyside Wildlife’s friendly, expert guides for an amazing evening’s wildlife watching experience in the Cairngorms.  You’ll have the chance to see Pine Marten, Badger, deer and more from the comfort of their, warm hide in the Rothiemurchus forest.

As seen on BBC Springwatch, these wonderful animals come within a few feet of the windows, providing great views and incidental photo opportunities at close quarters.  Though the animals are wild, years of understanding their nocturnal habits have ensured incredibly reliable sightings.  This fully guided dusk-time watch is terrifically exciting.

The hide is also available for exclusive bookings for those in larger groups, or professional photographers and others who wish to have the hide for private use for an evening.

To book or for more information, please call 01479 812345 or pop into Rothiemurchus Centre where we’ll be happy to help.
