As the summer draws to a close we take a look back at some of the amazing images visitors to Rothiemurchus have shared with us.

Beautiful Views

In the summer months, the foliage of Rothiemurchus is a lush green and the mountains provide a striking backdrop. Loch an Eilein is always a favourite among visitors to the area.

Chef James Martin and some Highland Coos

We were delighted to welcome Chef James Martin to Rothiemurchus and his Highland Cow photo was a hit with our followers on Instagram.

Wildlife

Rothiemurchus is home to many iconic Scottish species including Osprey, red squirrels and pine marten. Visitors can also go on Ranger-led activities to meet the deer and our famous fold of Highland cattle.

Activities

There are lots of activities on at Rothiemurchus during the Summer and we have loved seeing people having fun and perhaps trying something they have never done before!
