We’re delighted to welcome Rothie Cabins to the heart of Rothiemurchus, a thoughtfully designed cabin offering guests a relaxed, nature-immersed stay in the Cairngorms National Park.

This newly built, self-catering cabin sleeps two and is ideal for couples or solo travelers looking for a short break and a relaxed travel experience rooted in sustainability. Surrounded by ancient Caledonian Forests, Lochs, and Cairngorm Mountain views, Rothie Cabins offers a unique way to connect with the natural beauty of this special place. It’s dog-friendly, making it a welcoming base for both two- and four-legged adventurers.

Rooted in Sustainability:

Built with sustainability at its core, originally built for COP26 Summit to showcase zero carbon, circular solutions in building and living. The building materials were dismantled, transported, and thoughtfully rebuilt to blend seamlessly into the Rothiemurchus landscape.

Guests can enjoy a low carbon holiday, with direct access to walking and cycling trails to explore the nearby wildlife hides, or simply relax and soak in the stillness of the forest and sweeping mountain views through the panoramic front windows. Located just a short distance from Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands, Rothie Cabins is a perfect addition to the Rothiemurchus experience.
