Fishing at Rothiemurchus – time for one last cast!

There are just under a few weeks left of the fishing season at Rothiemurchus (closed from the end of October), so if you’re looking to squeeze in a final fishing fix, now’s the time. Our lochs are a great place to cast a line, switch off and enjoy some fresh air in the Cairngorms.

Our team takes great pride in maintaining the bait and fly lochs, carefully removing weeds, and tending to the waters so they stay clear and welcoming for both fish and anglers. You’ll find our waters stocked with large rainbow trout and even a few wild brown trout. With plenty of space and well-stocked lochs, there’s always the chance of a good catch.
