THE ULTIMATE WHITE WATER SPORT AT ROTHIEMURCUS, AVIEMORE
Exciting and even more fun than ‘White Water Rafting’.
Age restrictions apply. For further information please scroll down for Description, Need to Know and Rates & Dates.
Adventure ‘White Water’ River Tubing is the ultimate White Water River Sport. Exciting and even more fun than ‘White Water Rafting’, you are close to the action as you shoot through powerful gorges on our specially designed river tubes. Expert guides and all the best safety gear keep you safe as you hang onto the handles running the rapids, jumping into deep pools and shoot at high speed through the river sculpted rock features on this steep highland river.
Along with all the safety gear, we provide thick wetsuits, wetsuit socks, shoes and especially designed paddle gloves so you’ll be warm even in the cooler months and able to fully enjoy this awesome river sport. Think of a combination of White Water Rafting and Canyoning and you’ll get a good idea of what this is like, the perfect highland river adventure.
Ideal for adventurous families and adrenaline-seeking groups. Stags, Hens and corporate groups love this activity.
For those wanting white water fun but at a gentler pace, go for our other version the ‘river tubing’ which is also suitable for younger kids.
Please note if the rivers become too high for white water tubing we will automatically change to the equally good Canyon / Gorge so your session might change for reasons of safety if the weather is too wet.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to change your booking or to cancel, we do require 24 hours notice in order for you to receive a full refund. It is very unlikely we will need to cancel your activity booking and if we do not offer an alternative in substitution, then we will issue a full refund. We reserve the right to change your ‘activity type’ for reasons such as, but not limited to, unsuitable weather.
If the river levels rise quickly on the day of your scheduled session and it is unsafe, in our judgment, for white water river tubing we will automatically change to Canyon/Gorge.
Unfortunately, the weather changes in Scotland are often too last minute and unpredictable for us to give any notice of that change as the localised nature of rainfall in relation to river catchment areas is not something forecasts can accurately predict.
If we do change your activity, we will aim to ensure the substitution is of a similar level of excitement and fun. It is the experience we have to make those substitution calls that has kept us at the top of our industry for safety for more than 10 years.
We reserve the right to change your activity or venue for any reason and without giving notice and if people do then not wish to take part in the alternative activity or at the alternative venue offered, no refund will be given. Late arrival of clients: if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your activity we reserve the right to not take you and not offer a refund, as you may otherwise affect other customers we have or our staff working hours / arrangements.
