Description
Buzzard & Woodland Bird
Photography Hide
Capture woodland birdlife from our purpose-built photography hide, set on Rothiemurchus within the Cairngorms National Park. This daytime experience runs as a 4 or 6-hour session, typically from 11am to 3pm, giving you the chance to photograph a wide range of species in a natural forest setting.
Our hide attracts a regular flow of woodland birds, including nuthatch, treecreeper, great spotted woodpecker, blue tit, great tit and long-tailed tit, with many more visiting. There is also the opportunity to photograph a local buzzard, which is seen at the hide most days.
Surrounded by moss-covered stumps, fallen trees and a forest clearing that allows soft, natural light to filter through, the setting is ideal for capturing authentic, eye-level images of wildlife in its habitat.
