Visit the Rothiemurchus Farm, Aviemore with one of our entertaining and knowledgable Countryside Rangers and meet the wonderful Hairy Heilan Coos!

Starting at the Triangle Car Park at the Rothiemurchus Centre, you will meet your friendly and knowledgeable Ranger and follow them in your own vehicle to the farm. Here you will park up and walk with the Ranger to the field where they will call over our wonderful hairy heilan coos. They will come right up to the fence and be happy to pose for hundreds of photos!
Participants should wear suitable outdoor clothing, underfoot can be muddy so boots or stout shoes are recommended. Sorry no dogs – they upset the coos!

EXPERIENCE
None required except reasonable level of fitness for some walking at the farm.
MEETING POINT
Triangle Carpark (Opposite the main Rothiemurchus Centre) 10 minutes before session. Own vehicle is required as you will follow the Ranger in their vehicle to the Farm.

If you need to change your booking or to cancel, we do require 24 hours notice in order for you to receive a full refund. Groups bookings are subject to different Terms and Conditions and you will have received these by email during your enquiry process.

Rothiemurchus Rangers are a fun and busy team offering expertise, experience and entertainment. With many years of experience between us we have many fascinating stories and tales to tell about this amazing Highland estate as well as expert knowledge on the habitats, wildlife, cultural heritage and management of Rothiemurchus.
QUALIFICATIONS
All Rothiemurchus Rangers complete an in-house training and development programme for all their activities. All Rangers have attended wildlife identification courses and other land management training courses.
